We’ve got CAT!!!!!!
October 15th, 2008 by Robert

Look who needed a drink!!!
This a new visitor. I know, I know, it’s all about “God’s creatures big and small”, but honestly, I see “cat trap” in it’s future. It will have a better life after being adopted from our local animal shelter.
It’s extremely unfortunate that people continue to think it’s in the cat’s best interest to be “FREE”. Our vet Dr. Bird says it’s the WORST thing for a cat health wise. It’s a total lack of personal responsibility on the owner’s part at the expense of the cat. BTW - We adopted a stray “Cookie”, which we moved indoors, and had a very happy and HEALTHY life.

Got a new feeder. Although squirrel-proof, the old one was too difficult to maintain and keep clean. (We’ve kept the squirrel busy with plenty of seed on the ground. )
I think they like it…..

Dangerous view
September 7th, 2008 by Robert

I was caught by this yesterday evening. Urbanization of our “Paradise” brought with it breath taking views for this red shouldered hawk, but also extreme danger. We’ve lost far too many because of it…..
